Nathaniel Tan remanded? For more ppl who knows Nat, this would come as a surprise… Nat being a Harvard graduate (Harvard has a record of only having 1-2 Malaysian student per year), also an aid volunteer in Ache (Tsunami victims) and Sierra Leone. Interesting thing is, Nat graduated from Harvard with a Peace & Conflict degree which he designed with his dean. Smart fellow u might say?
So that leads us to the question, why is he in JAIL? well i’d love to write about it, but since so many ppl already have, here are links to the articles you can read pertaining to his arrest (they actually handcuffed him) and remanded him… and after Saturday’s hearing in court.. its decided he’ll be in remand for 4 days from Saturday… wtf? check out these links
Chery’s Blog (Nat’s sister) : http://thetrialsofcheryltan.wordpress.com
Li Tsin’s Blog (Nat’s gf) : http://www.polytikus.com
Elizabeth’s Blog (My Fav, full of facts) : http://elizabethwong.wordpress.com
Malaysia Kini (Have to subscribe) : http://www.malaysiakini.com.my
Lim Kit Siang’s : http://blog.limkitsiang.com
I think these blogs will give you enough information.. if u’ve not been reading the newspapers, then you might wanna read it online… its really sad..
Oh, i forgot to tell.. Nat’s my cousin.. proudly said.. As it is, Nat’s hearing will be appealed to the high court as i speak today, if he’s not released, a gathering to show support to nat will be held outside IPD Dang Wangi tonight. If you are moved by what these other writer’s have to say.. be sure to join in.. High chance i might b there.. my love to Uncle Bob, Aunty Suku and Cheryl Tan. Be strong as this might just be the beginning of Nat’s battle for a better Malaysia… fast updates on cheryl’s blog on the trials and the vigil gathering.. sms me for details if u wanna b there… cheers!

Its a little bit funny.. the feeling inside.. when a new born comes to life.. it’s hard to explain, it’s hard to say, the way he sees you, the way he smiles, the way he puts a smile on you. You see, it’s been quite a while since i last held an infant, moreover one who shares my bloodline. Welcome to this world baby mathew. May it treat you well and may your uncle prashan turn out to be quite an uncle.
You’ve put smiles on everyone’s faces.. you’re cute and cuddly.. you’re just so adorable. people love you and may you grow to love as well. Michael Jackson once said ‘i’m a lover, not a fighter’ abide by these words and you’ll be alrite..
so, love and let love. Live your life to the fullest.
I received a joke on sms which i thought was quite funny.. thought i’d share it with you. ‘Every local wants to know when the PM is announcing the forthcoming ELECTIONS but instead, he announces his forthcoming ERECTION’ dated some time back when his marriage was announced.. pretty funny.. Well, this leaves me one last thing to ask my blog readers.. Malaysia’s 50th Independence is just around the block.. and in almost everyone’s mind, the’re thinking why should we celebrate this day? what has the country done for us? well, my question to all Malaysians is merely simple, what have you done for your country to receive something in return? isn’t it enough that the government keeeps the peace in the country? keeps our economy somewhat stable?
"Ask not what the country can do for you but what you can do for the country’ John F. Kennedy… take a deep thought about it my friends..

If you use MRR2, you’d have to realize by now that the speed limit on it is 60KMPH. It’s probably the straightest road in the whole of KL and the limit is 60 KMPH. My god, what are these people thinking? apparently, they are afraid ppl race on those streets! but what the heck? thats what we have police for right? why are we giving the police the chance to have a roadblock and say ‘SIR, You have exceeded the 60 limit by 5 KMPH" WTF? isn’t this an act of provoking corruption? dear lord.. have mercy on my pockets.. Well, i’ve not actually been stopped on those roads though i go about 80 on it but i’ve heard that they do ‘Cari Makan’ there.. therefore, i’ve tried driving 60 on those roads for the past week and guess what? I’m getting mad.. u dont drive down a straight beautiful road at 60.. especially when there’s no traffic.. and it’s bridges.. there’s bound to be acceleration.. how do you justify that? Well enough about traffic.. thinking about it makes me hungry.. so i shall refrain from speaking about it. Yesterday marked 11th month anniversary of me n shermaine.. next month we’ll be 1 years old.. haha! its a record for me.. i mean even 6 months is a record for me but this is like the Malaysian book of records. Anyway, life’s been a bit more free for me… been having a little more free time at work.. but Mid June to Mid July is going to be another hectic 30 days.. and there after would be august due to our nation’s 50th Birthday.. cheers to my friends who have been loyal readers here. Continue coming as i got some interesting writeups coming soon!
cheers! PS: if anyone knows of a PR or Mkt job that pays 3000 and works 5 days.. let me know.. seriously thinking of a change of environment. like ppl say.. "MUST GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE" cheers Malaysia..happie birthday!

Clich HERE to watch this VIDEO on a current apostasy case in Malaysia..
Honestly, this is no new issue among us Malaysians… it has been probably been an issue for as long as i can remember.. who is there to pity? personally, i pity those Modern Muslim who has learnt not to discremenate racial discretion. For all their faith in the Malaysian Constitution, they probably dont realise the crime they are commiting if they abandon their religion.
Well, i always belief that you can only abandon a religion if you have chosen to be in one. How do you become Muslims? by Birth is mojority… this means you have never ever had the liberty of choosing to be a non Muslim. I did some research and came to find out that by Islamic Law, apostacy is punishable by death. The crime of apostasy was determined during some time ago when Jews converted into Islam and then out of it, as though making fun of it.
But like i alwiz tell ppl! we are living in a new era and religion has to grow and accept change. How can a country practise 2 constitutions? How is it we can call ourselves a multi racial community if allow such events to take place? Honestly, a lot of ppl are angry but choose to keep quiet because we love our nation and we have high regards for the potential of our country.. untapped potential that is.. Will we be prisoners of our own stupidity forever? i wonder…

IRONY continues… i searched and i practically messed up my closet..and still no signs of fresh stockings were available! as i let out a deep sigh! it tinked me.. i should have stockings in my laundry bag that just came back… THANK GOD for laundry! so my mission for the next couple of days would be searching back for my stocking’s other halves… Madness i guess but i probably do not want to just loose all my expensive stockings.. im probably too broke to buy new ones… sigh i guess i need a pay hike soon!

Saturday afternoon, i received 2 calls.. one from Russel the Bluester and another from Sonia the Jazzster, both asking me "Hey you coming for the gathering tonight?" and i’d go "Hmmm.. till today, i did not know about it but what the heck, if it meant my friends were going, then i’m probably in :)" Had dinner with my parents at PUDU before i headed to Social Club @ Bangsar. When i reached there, "Ching, Cindy, Joshua, Lokhman, Shameen & Joshua were already there.. so i took a seat with my dearest and ordered myself a cold glass of Tiger to chill off.. After such a long day, the Tiger felt great in my throat…
Russel told me earlier it was gonna be a jam session between all of us but i was quite conservertive as i know some of these ppl are under contract and are pretty much not allowed to sing in public places.. but hey, what the heck… it was the BOYS night out… noone cared.. probably noone in that club knew what OIAM stood for besides us! hahaha
so one by one took the stage to play and sing and we sure did the hell enjoyed ourselves.. Most of these guys were top 40 in the competition except for me and sonia i think..
Ching had already released her first album, produced by Ravi the Rat, the guy who produced Jaclyn Victor before she became an idol..
the rest were still working on it.. "SUPERMAN" Faizal walked in about an hour later with his identity clothing.. (SUPERMAN) all over..haha he’s really got it going.. we were all glad to see him there as we tot he would not have had the time..
nice to see u again Faizal..
Night ended with good music thanks to Joshua and Russel… Gave Shameen and Lokhman a ride back to Sentul.. got road blocked but nothing happened this time.. THANK GOD!!! and i went home and had a good night sleep with my ‘precious’ just next to me!
Life is wonderful so far… sorry for not bloggin for some time now.. been busy! and PS: Faizal, you’re still my One in a Million!

The feeling’s rather funny actually.. first time you’d actually stare at someone sleeping and enjoying the sight. It’s really sweet… The noises they make when they’re asleep..their action… it’s all in the package, a package you cannot reject. Somehow, if you know she’s the one, then you know she’s the one. However, nothing’s ever perfect. Sometimes you just got to pull through. Sometimes i see her smiling with her friends, that makes me happy too of course..knowing she’s got something to laugh about.. but it saddens me sometimes when im the one she’s angry at and she can just be long faced at me whole day long..but still smile when her friends are around.. unfortunately, this is her and i still love her for everything she is…
Therefore… ENOUGH of complaining as i know for all the times that i’ve been sad, it cannot be overcomed by all the times that she’s made me happy! coz it’s really been the best months of my life… cheers to that! and when do you know she’s the one? just take an hour to see her sleep! if u can do that, then she’s 50% nearer to being the one u wanna spend the rest of ur life with. (Applies only for men) as women are more emotional and they can watch all the men they love sleep!
haha! men happen to be more hormon(ied) as they cant just watch a woman sleep, they have to do something about it! it’s in their blood!
Enough said.. i’m gonna sweat out all my grief now at badminton! cheers to all the beautiful ppl in the world.. never let anyone tell you that you are 1% less beautiful then you think you are, coz believe it or not.. only your opinion matters.. the rest can be bought…

Yeap, Malaysians have done it again… And what you get from it, a joke that rhymes, "Hey guys, guess what? add a N before the word ANTI and what do you get??? NANTI".. Must have been d most significant joke of the year. I kinda like Pak Lah’s comment on the STAR today, saying that a few bad apples is what making the police force bad, and at all if they’re bad, we would not feel safe. Hat’s off Prime Minister….. Frankly, we got to face the facts, the Police are doing their jobs fighthing crime and putting their lifes in danger for us… My personal complaint more than anything, what are the traffic police doing?
Just to my personal opinion, they should be around corners summoning those cars that double park and cause traffic jams, they should be controlling traffic so that we reach home in a jiff, they should be on the streets making sure street racers get stripped of their cars and they should ensure that roads are safe to drive on. I sincerely applaud the people who take charge of the traffic at the Jalan Pudu Intersection’s. They really really do a good job during the jam time. That’s KL i guess. But what about Sunway? PJ Areas? Just last week, i was on Federal Highway getting on the LDP at the suspension bridge. Traffic was bad! a lot of people took the emergency lane to enter left as the traffic jam was for those turning right into kelana jaya. Guess what? around the corner, a police was lookin on to see which car was going to the emergency lane..and as you turn left, another bunch are just waiting to stop you.. THANK GOD I WAS NOT ON A RUSH THAT DAY! i mean how can you be doing such a thing when a traffic jam is happening right in front of you?
Enough said about the road blocks that checks your alcohol level at night as we ALREADY know from my previous blog how they manipulate you! DARN! I’m pretty sure if they do their jobs well, summon more cars, collect the summons in time, the goverment will be able to channel some money as bonus for them. But hey, i think there’s nothing better than a good night with drinkers on it. No offense but that’s our force. And thou shall still show them respect because as when we close our doors at night, we count on them to keep our neighberhood safe…. and RELA? i’ll be talking about them soon! pricks!
Anyway, my apologies for not blogging lately… to my lawful readers, do leave me a message to tell me ur alive..
shuyi is in town for holidays.. hope to see her before she flies back to toronto! shirlyn, your in love out of love stories are freaking scary.. i think you should just continue mapling…
kok wei, your "land down under" needs to be settled quickly.. Jayvan, you’re still telling too many lies… you’ve got to change.. karen… i wish i’d have a nice car.. LOL! Helena.. ur still missing in action… and lastly…my dearest, i still love u so much!
PS : William Kong is getting married in a fortnight’s time! more details, contact Dexter Yeo! should be next in line! adios ppL!

I came across some shocking news a week or two ago.. i read in the papers a repetition of the coverage yesterday about this group, an NGO i think, who is willing to sponsor a motorcycle to the MAT REMPIT’s who help to catch snatch thieves. Of course it is stated that they have to catch like 20 snatch thieves before they get their motorcycle…
It got me thinking real hard, what are the implications of this move? Let’s put it into a scenario, Snatch Thief Snatches Handbag, runs for his life, get’s on his bike, and takes of as fast as he can. Mat Rempit witnesses, give chase, and tries to bring em’ down! =)
Seriously, at this point, im rather more worried for the safety of the Mat Rempit. Have you thought why ppl steal or pickpocket? I came across a case in my university about half a year ago.. a foreign student was caught in the supermarket shoplifting and i had to go there in the middle of the night to get him out of trouble. Of course i was displeased…i was happily watching a movie at home when the call came in at 10PM. Had to miss my show! Thank god for Torrent’s though..
However, when i got there, i greeted the security and requested that i see the boy and what he stole.
Well, to my shock, the security ppl were on his side and they dont want him to get into trouble himself. Why? because he stole a bunch of Bananas, some Milk, and some Biscuits. Imagine, the poor kid had to steal for food as his money got cheated by his friends. Well some friends you might think…but hey, that’s not the total concentration on this story.. im trying to imply that 90% of ppl steal out of desperation, at times when they cant feed themselves, cant feed their family, cant make their children happy. Does the 9th MP includes a budget to feed the needy?
We always see in movies how shelter homes provides 3 meals for ppl. It might not be much, but enough for those who cannot even earn a living and have to resort to free food. Who would wanna steal if giving an option. Worst case is, Malaysians do not come up with the idea of giving RM 5000 to feed the poor, they give RM 5000 for road bullies who catches thieves. sigh.. Malaysia Malaysia Malaysia.. However, watever i say here is merely by opinion and does not have enough evidence whatsoever that my plans work better than others.. and i am not descriminating and pointing fingers at any bodies.. but face the facts.. Malaysia Boleh!
