Nathaniel Tan remanded? For more ppl who knows Nat, this would come as a surprise… Nat being a Harvard graduate (Harvard has a record of only having 1-2 Malaysian student per year), also an aid volunteer in Ache (Tsunami victims) and Sierra Leone. Interesting thing is, Nat graduated from Harvard with a Peace & Conflict degree which he designed with his dean. Smart fellow u might say?

So that leads us to the question, why is he in JAIL? well i’d love to write about it, but since so many ppl already have, here are links to the articles you can read pertaining to his arrest (they actually handcuffed him) and remanded him… and after Saturday’s hearing in court.. its decided he’ll be in remand for 4 days from Saturday… wtf? check out these links

Oh, i forgot to tell.. Nat’s my cousin.. proudly said.. As it is, Nat’s hearing will be appealed to the high court as i speak today, if he’s not released, a gathering to show support to nat will be held outside IPD Dang Wangi tonight. If you are moved by what these other writer’s have to say.. be sure to join in.. High chance i might b there.. my love to Uncle Bob, Aunty Suku and Cheryl Tan. Be strong as this might just be the beginning of Nat’s battle for a better Malaysia… fast updates on cheryl’s blog on the trials and the vigil gathering.. sms me for details if u wanna b there… cheers!
